A break to verbal, I would like to post insights/review/tips of my experience with math gre questions. Most of these might look so silly<for some> but they are often overlooked and hence lead to silly mistakes. The test-makers are fond of creating pit-falls; the more conscientious we are, the more stronger we propel in the test.

Q1. If n equally priced apples are d-$'s
Quant A: n/d
Quant B:2
Ofcourse quant comp questions look easy but the option d is the pitfall which is often less taken care of
Answer: d
Check for all cases: i)if n=5 d=2 -> n/d=0.5<2 ii)if n=10 d=2 -> n/d=5>2 <well d is the right choice>

*1million has 6 zeroes,1billion has 9 zeroes, 1trillion has 12 zeroes<A zero lost is an option wrongly placed>

*In a triangle exterior angle is sum of opp interior angles
*30:60:90 degrees->1:√3:2
*45:45:90 degrees->1:1:√2
*ARCLENGTH/CIRCUMFERENCE=CENTRALANGLE/360

Q2:Possible values for c where c is the hypotunese of right angle triangle with other two sides a and b<integer values>
a)37 b)29 c)23 d)20 e)13
Ans:c
c^2=a^2+b^2
check the options
37=6^2+1^2
29=5^2+2^2
23=??
20=4^2+2^2
13=3^2+2^2
More to come....:)
