Aver=to confirm/support<sounds negative but not; dont mistake it for aversion;'ver' for truthfulness>

Brevity=briefness

Consternation=confusing<con-not;stern=unrelenting/straightforward>

Dogmatic=to strongly hold/state unproven beliefs<dogma=no proofs but strongly believed>

Platitude=superficial remark

Repudiate=disown/deny/renounce

Penury=poor<without pennies>
